01 Overview

A free tool that solves the cutting-stock problem to minimize material waste and promote a low-waste society.

It computes optimal cutting layouts so users can reduce offcuts and get the most out of their raw materials. The app is built with Next. js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui, with Jest for testing. This project showcases applied optimization, a clean and accessible interface, and a sustainability-focused mission.
